Saturday, November 5th. 8:30AM-3:00PM
Where:
13-118 (Trophy Room). Behind the Library, across the street from our First General Meeting.
What:
We'll be hosting a lab for groups of middle school students brought to campus for the Society of Women Engineer's (SWE) BAE. We'll be giving a quick presentation about what civil engineers do (civil engineering, duh!) and then guiding them through a fun team competition that involves some basic engineering. Make a Difference Day (MADD)
Who:
All Students (and interested friends)!
When:
Saturday, October 22th. Breakfast at 9 am (actual event ~10-2)
Where:
Breakfast at Chumash (9am) and we'll be moving to our assignment from there
What:
This annual event, organized in SLO through the Cal Poly Community Center is the largest service day in SLO county. We'll be assigned a project, which can be anything from helping out at a non-profit to working on a local trail, where we'll head after a free breakfast in Chumash.
