HOW TO SIGN-UP:

Chapter Membership

Come to any general meeting and sign up with an officer.  The membership fee for the entire year is $40.  Membership includes discounts at local restaurants, discounted or free fieldtrips, food at all general meetings, and SCE's 2012-2013 t-shirt.

 

National Membership

Please remember to sign-up/renew for your FREE ASCE national membership. All SCE members must have ASCE national membership.

1. Membership

Renew membership - Click the link and either sign-in and renew it, or if you've forgotten your information type in your e-mail address that you used to sign-up and it will prompt you and allow you to sign in.

New Membership - Click the link to start your free student membership into ASCE

  • How you heard about ASCE,
  • If you are a Full or Part time student,
  • Check the box for 'I am a member of my school's organization or have applied for membership',
  • Check the United States box at the bottom of the page, and
  • 'Continue' to the next page.

The next page is your personal information that you will fill out. Use your local address as your ASCE membership card will be mailed to the address you submit. After you finish signing up, memrec@asce.org will email you an ASCE Confirmation number and directions to obtain your password for the online account.  Write your “Customer Identification #” down as it can be useful in future dealings with ASCE. After you have applied for membership, your ASCE card will be mailed to the addressed you have provided. This card will also contain your ASCE Membership number.

                 ***Signing up on the ASCE National website is free for students.***

2. Information

Please bring the following information to the SCE meeting: Name, E-mail, ASCE No.(Customer ID #), and Year in school.  There will be a table set up for sign-ups for SCE.  If you are unable to make it to the meetings due to scheduling conflicts, please e-mail the above information to Heather Baessler, at hbaessle@calpoly.edu.

           ***You must sign-up on ASCE's website and give us your information in order to officially be in SCE***

3. Sign and Pay

Make sure that you have both signed up and paid, otherwise you will be removed from the club list if you haven't paid for your membership. You will receive you SCE t-shirt and SCE membership card once you have paid and provided your information. We will be accepting memberships throughout the year, so please sign up at any of the meetings.

4. Fees

The membership fee for the entire year is $35 if you pay at the first meeting.  It is $40 to sign-up at any of the following club meetings.
